Have you taken part to OuiShare Fest 2016? Were you an attendee, a speaker, a partner, a session co-creator, a volunteer (team member), an innovator, a journalist?

You are warmly invited to participate in our study of the Fest. We aim to map the collaborative economy community, looking at how people network and how this fosters the emergence of new trends and topics.

This study is carried out at the University of Paris Saclay by Antonio A. Casilli (associate professor, i3, Mines-Telecom Institute) and Paola Tubaro (senior research scientist, LRI, National Centre for Scientific Research). It is run in close collaboration with OuiShare.

When you arrivedĀ at the OuiShare Fest 2016, you were asked to complete a brief paper questionnaire. If you didn’t manage to do so before you left the Fest, or if you prefer the paperless version, you can complete it online now.

We value your contribution: this helps us reach more reliable results which will support scientific knowledge-building as well as inform the organizers’ work to plan for future Fests.

If you are willing to tell us more about your experience at Ouishare Fest, at the end of the questionnaire you will be asked for permission to be contacted by one of us for a one-hour interview, to be carried out via telephone or skype, at a mutually convenient date and time.

In addition to this survey, we will use Twitter data related to the event as well as data from the Sched and Swapcard apps as related to the Fest. All this information will be coded anonymously before analysis by the research team, and will be treated confidentially. Your name will not be disclosed to any third parties, and no information that can identify you or your acquaintances will be released to persons not associated directly with the study.

The aggregate results of this research will be used to prepare presentations at scientific conferences as well as publications. Key highlights from the results will be published in the OuiShare Magazine.

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation!
