The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 3,100 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 52 trips to carry that many people.
This blog is about the opportunities and challenges that arise in today’s renewed data landscape for citizens, companies, and society. It also looks at methods of data collection, visualization and analysis that enhance evidence-based understanding of society. Finally, it showcases initiatives to build infrastructures to facilitate access to, and sharing of, socioeconomic data.
I see the last few months of 2014 were disaster in terms of blogging activity… I’ll be more disciplined in 2015, promised!!!
